“The Rule of Law and Innovation for Constitutional Justice”

As part of the OCC Public Lecture and Academic Forum, the Office of the Constitutional Court organized an academic lecture and a workshop session on the topic of “The Rule of Law and Innovation for Constitutional Justice”. We were honored to have Prof. Dr. Kittipong Kittayarak, Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), along with a team of experts from the TIJ. The event took place on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, at the TK Palace Hotel & Convention Bangkok and was also broadcast via the Office of the Constitutional Court’s YouTube channel.

The program consisted of the following sessions:

• Keynote Address: “The Current State of the Rule of Law in Thailand” by Prof. Dr. Kittipong Kittayarak, Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Justice.
• Special Lecture: “The Rule of Law Index and Justice Innovation” by Dr. Anuwan Vongpichet, Deputy Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Justice.
• Special Lecture: “Justice Innovation: Lessons from Thailand” by Associate Professor Dr. Thanee Chaiwat, Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University, and Mr. Napat Taetao, Wevis Project.

The event concluded with a workshop session using strategic foresight tools, themed “Innovation for Constitutional Justice”, facilitated by khun Suparat Sawetamal, Global Engagement Lead, Thailand Institute of Justice, for the staff and officials of the Constitutional Court and the Office of the Constitutional Court.
